Dandi Wang

Ms. Dandi Wang is the Director of Library Services at UoPeople. Dandi has been with UoPeople since 2022. She started as a volunteer library assistant to provide reference services to students and instructors. With a background in educational technology, she supports eLearning design and initiatives to increase the awareness of open scholarship. She is also the Digital Preservation and Data Services Support at Athabasca University, where she audits digital collections in the institutional repository and promotes data preservation for researchers.

Before joining UoPeople, Ms. Wang served as a student information services specialist at the University of Alberta and research associate at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Ms. Wang holds masters’ degrees in Library and Information Science, as well as Educational Technology and Media Leadership, and a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering. Her academic interests focus on open scholarship, research data management, information literacy, and data analytics.
