Born in Vung Tau, a seaside city 2-hour’s drive from Ho Chi Minh City, a vibrant commercial hub of Vietnam, I was fortunate to enjoy the best education in my country. I graduated from the Foreign Trade University with a Bachelor of International Business. However, I always wanted to earn an internationally acclaimed post-graduate degree. Given my circumstances, it seemed like a distant dream. I needed to work and support my family, but I continued dreaming about earning an online, high-quality American education that was also affordable.

In my corporate career of so many years, motivation and career aspirations were now plateauing. It was precisely 2018 when I began to feel engulfed by stagnation and boredom I had been running on autopilot.

So, I decided to transform my life, reignite my motivation, and open doors to a world of new opportunities. I enrolled to earn a tuition-free online MBA at UoPeople that same year.

My Experience at UoPeople

University of the People, with its innovative approach to online education, allowed me the opportunity to earn my MBA on my own terms.  It came as a beacon of hope I desperately needed. The convenience of online learning eliminated the need for long commutes to school, allowing me to balance my career and family responsibilities while pursuing my new dreams.

During my time at UoPeople, I gained invaluable skills and knowledge that were directly applicable to my professional life, not just from the instructors, but also from my peers from around the world and diverse cultures. The curriculum was thoughtfully designed, offering real-world insights and business case studies.

The program breathed new life into my career aspirations. I began to see opportunities where I previously only saw roadblocks. The MBA at UoPeople was not just an academic pursuit; it became my gateway to a more vibrant and fulfilling career.

The Professional Turning Point

As I neared the completion of my MBA, a dream job offer knocked on my door. I joined V-key, a reputable deep-tech company as an Enterprise Sales Director. This wasn’t just any job; it was my dream job.

The day I signed the contract with V-key was a moment of pure elation. I had not only reignited my career aspirations, but I was also now in a position where my dreams could flourish.

Securing this position was not only a testament to my dedication and hard work but also the direct result of the knowledge and skills I acquired during my time at UoPeople. The MBA program equipped me with the expertise needed to excel in the world of enterprise sales.

Not only did I gain the technical know-how, but also leadership qualities that helped me guide and mentor large teams. My MBA taught me to think critically, make strategic decisions, and communicate effectively with other business leaders. These skills were paramount in the competitive field of enterprise sales.
